As we edge ever closer to Wrestlemania 34 we also get that little bit closer to Brock Lesnar holding the Universal Championship for a full year. The heavily rumoured Roman Reigns being the guy to dethrone the beast is obvious but here are my picks for alternatives that would be better.
5. The Miz

This one may be a long shot but me like many others I would love to see The Miz back in the main event picture. Since his last time at the top of the pile The Miz has progressed massively even elevating the Intercontinental Championship from nothing to must see. Of course The Miz maybe couldn't beat Lesnar alone so some interference from Bo and Curt would help. He's definitely a wild card for me
4- Braun Strowman

Don't get me wrong Braun would make a very good champion but the reason why he's so far down is the fact he's too entertaining right now. His feuds and destruction would have to be toned down in favour of proper story lines if he was a champion and i'm not ready to let Brauns destruction go yet. In the future he deserves a title but for right now he's too entertaining
3- Woken Matt Hardy

If it's true that WWE are going to include more of the broken universe then he deserves to be here for the fun of it. How entertaining would a broken champion be... to me very! Matt hardy has a lot to still do with his new woken character so one last run with the championship would be DELIGHTFUL!!!!!!
2- Jeff Hardy

Just beating his brother on the list is Jeff. Jeff usually the more popular of the 2 would be welcomed if he were to have another main event run. Yes there is young guys but everyone loves Jeff... One more run ! The amount of high spots and dream match ups would also make this run amazing to.
AND NUMBER 1 - Finn Balor

Is there anyone more hard working and deserving of the Universal Championship then Finn Balor... I'll give you time to think... NO ONE. Finn balor is one of the most over people in the company never mind Raw and now he's been paired with The Club again there is no stopping him. Being the iron man in the Royal Rumble boosted him further and he is still owed his rematch remember! Simply the man to beat the beast is the demon. HE IS OVER VINCE! A special mention to a massive Finn Balor fan and friend from Instagram @mannerz_wrestling for partly giving me this idea so go give him a follow.
